Additional Sony MDR-E828LP Fontopia Earbuds with Winding Case Information

Sony offers the MDR-E828LP Fontopia Ear-Bud Stereo Headphones. Fontopia in-the-ear design fits snugly, yet comfortably inside the ear so you can enjoy music while exercising, skating or dancing. Sony Acoustic Twin Turbo Circuitry uses sound chamber and ducts for improved efficiency, gets high sonic output from your portable stereo. Silent Cap prevents sound leakage, makes your music less likely to disturb your neighbors. Neodymium magnet allows for maximum energy in minimum size. Neodymium is far more powerful than conventional Samarium Cobalt or Aluminum magnets. Compact case neatly stores the ear-buds and headphone cord when not in use and is ideal for carrying in a pocket or purse.

What Customers Say About Sony MDR-E828LP Fontopia Earbuds with Winding Case:

The problem for me is that the earpiece is too big. They are good. Otherwise, I like the case and the way it winds the cord.

I loved the original headphones that came with the Zune and I didn't think I'd find a pair that I would like as much. Very comfortable in the ear and very good sound. I bought these headphones to replace the ones that came with my Zune. These are nearly an exact replica of what came with my Zune and they are very good product.

Highly Recommended. Its clear plastic top has a circular depression that acts as a "crank."The MDR-E828LP may be cheap, but the sound production from these are superb. It's easy to operate and allows you to quickly reel in the cord for the earphones. If you're leery about getting these because of the low price, rest assured that these are very high quality earphones that are a real bang for your buck. I have several pairs of the Sony MDR-E828LP earphones - that's how much I love them. They are a good fit, comfortable to wear, and most of all they sound really, really good. The frequency response of 12 Hz - 22,000 Hz is excellent for producing deep bass sounds while capturing all the nuances of higher treble sounds.- Winding Storage CaseThe case comes in real handy for storing your earphones when you need to bring them with you. This is a case in point where the adage "You get what you pay for" doesn't hold true.

I got these for my PSP 3000 and they work great.Pros: Case to wined, store and travel with. Good sound and well made.Cons: Case is a little flimsy. These are worth every penny.

The hard plastic case took some getting use to, but now I wouldn't have earphones stored any other way. I do have a suggestion: use an adhesive (hypoallergenic) of some kind, to affix the small foam covers (earpads) that come with the earbuds. I carefully applied the glue around the perimeter of the foam pad with a toothpick, making sure none of the glue got on the earphone's tiny speaker. I listen to music, talk radio, and old-time movies and radio shows on my media player, whenever I have a few minutes available.

Happy shopping. I recommend you give these earbuds and case a try. In summary, storing (and carrying) earphones, and getting the cables all tangled up, was a chronic problem---until I discovered these Fontopia Earbuds from Sony. My first pair is 3 years old, and going strong. The price on Amazon was fabulous, and they arrived ahead of schedule.I decided to keep a permanent pair at home, and have a second pair for my briefcase when I'm out and about. The sound from the Sony Fontopia Earbuds is quite clear, with decent bass, midrange and treble. They wiggle off very easily, so I used some "white glue," the kind kids use in school.

I think you'll be highly pleased. This is my second pair of Fontopia Earbuds with the winding case. The winding case is great, and protect the earbuds perfectly. The foam earpads make a noticeable improvement in the quality of the sound, improve sound isolation, and keep them from slipping out of my ears when I'm exercising.
